SCS SB 301 -- CONVEYANCE IN BUCHANAN COUNTY

SPONSOR:  Johnson (Hegeman)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee
on Correctional and State Institutions by a vote of 13 to 0.

This substitute allows Missouri Western State College to convey
approximately 3 acres to the Extension Council of Buchanan
County.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill would give property to
the University of Missouri to build an extension center.

Testifying for the bill were Representatives Hegeman and Relford.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
